At 16 o'clock the tournament leader
Andreas Rehfeldt opened the Unicorn Open in 2008 and greeted as a guest of honour the mayoress of Marzahn-Hellersdorf, which to overdo it the patronage of the Unicorn Open volunteered in 2009.
Special thanks it was a matter for the sponsors of aiming without whom we could not have played in such a nice tournament hall, the Georgsaal.

Reinhard Baier could protect himself in the 3rd round itself with FM Ulrich Schwekendiek/2285 also immediately still the second FM-scalp.
